Cooking atelier

During our cooking workshops, you'll have the opportunity to learn alongside our experts as you prepare a complete meal consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert. Each dish is carefully crafted using seasonal ingredients, ensuring a burst of flavor in every bite.

Workshop Details:

Menu Creation

  1. Appetizer: Start your culinary journey with a delightful, yet simple appetizer, setting the tone for the rest of the meal.
  2. Starter: Continue your culinary adventure by preparing a tantalizing starter, showcasing the vibrant flavors of the season.
  3. Main Course: Dive into the heart of the meal as you master the art of creating a delicious main course, featuring ingredients from the garden, foraged in the wild or locally sourced at farms.
  4. Dessert: Conclude your culinary experience on a sweet note with a delectable dessert, perfectly balancing sweetness and indulgence.

How It Works

1. Cooking Session: Join us in the outdoor kitchen as we guide you through the cooking process, sharing tips and techniques for each course. Everyone gets a few dedicated tasks and together with the group the whole menu is created.

2. Dinner: After the workshop, sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labor as we dine together, savoring the full-course meal you helped create.

Location: Outdoor kitchen at Rêve, in case of rain we'll move indoors.

Duration: start at 4 pm, dinner at 8 pm. End foreseen around 10 pm.

Price: 87 euros per person (includes workshop and dinner), supplement of 20 euros for a complementary wine tasting arrangement during dinner

Practical Information

- Vegetarian-Friendly: Our cooking workshops are open to vegetarians, ensuring that everyone can participate and enjoy a culinary experience tailored to their dietary preferences. Please inform us ahead of any dietary requirements.

- Dinner Only Option: If you'd like to join us for the delicious meal but prefer not to participate in the cooking class, we offer a dinner-only option for 45 euros. Simply come and savor the flavors of our freshly prepared dishes in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This option is also possible on any other night that we offer 'table d'hôtes'. Can I join? 

Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, our ateliers are suitable for all skill levels. Come solo, with friends, or as a group. (minimum age, 12). Places are limited.

Your hosts 

Febe Claeys, owner of Rêve Averyon gets inspirated by this place every single day. Together with her husband she shares the little paradise they renovated themselves and shares her passion for pottery and cooking with the guests. 

Joeri Verelst, owner of Rêve Aveyron. Specialized in transforming ideas of his wife into reality. Always available to assist in workshops and solve technical issues. 

Luca Wimmers is so fond of French Pastry that she made her profession out of it. Trained at Ferrandi Paris and now baking in different international kitchens you will find her hosting cooking ateliers at Rêve this season and she will assist in the pottery classes.
